Today was a big day. The copper IUD which has been inserted in me for, 6 years?, was removed today.
I was terrified, of course, as you'll get to know, I'm a chicken Shitt to the core of my very being!
I was sweating, and shaking, and telling the doc how scared I was, she was laughing, and saying how silly I will feel when its done.
It was less than a pap, it was less than 2 minutes, it was less pain than a damn menstrual cramp. Needless to say I was a little embarassed, but happy! When doc left the room I cried, I cried becuause I was so happy that it's about to start!
Background: I will be 30 years old in 2012. My husband, my amazing kiwi husband, will be 40 years old in 1 week! We have been married for 1 year, 3 months, 11 days, and 3 hours, and are trying for our first child.
Both of us want children, and both of us are on the same page! which is refreshing, and exciting.
